It's About Time

Finally got my 40 some Christmas cards finished and addressed and ready to mail.  It felt good to get back to my scrap booking.  These are what I accomplished this week.  The LO's were taken from Pinterist.

Pages from last weekend & then some

Last weekend I completed 3 pages and am just now getting them posted.  Plus i am posting what I am working on this weekend.

Mikey's graduation from High School.

 Not a big Celebration, but it was the 4th of July and Marlene, Robin & Eric all had a turn on the Zip Line over at Rick & Robins place.

O.K. the beginning of my Christmas cards for this year. I wasn't real fond of the colors in the first one so I changed them a little.  One thing about coloring the cards, is no two come out exactly the same.

Ontario Scrap Expo

It was a great weekend that my daughter & I had at the Ontario Scrap Expo. With all the make & takes on Thursday night, shopping, classes & scrapping from 8 a.m. to midnight on Friday & Saturday, I actually finished 8 page layouts.

Three to post

Well it has been a couple of weeks since I posted, so I finally got some downloaded and ready.  Two of the three I like the other one not so much.  This one I like, I have had this layout for awhile but never had any pictures to use on it.  Finally got some pictures that I downloaded from Jessica's face book page.

This is the one I feel is not complete, it just needs something in the top right corner.  Maybe a title like Firestorm 2014?  I have not filed it away yet so maybe I will come up with something.

This one I colored the flowers in the bottom left. Very hard to shade on this paper so I just had to let it dry and consider it done, but I think it came out o.k.

One New Layout

My beautiful flowers and plant that my kids gave to me on Mother's Day.  The paper is from SEI, my picture frame I cut out with my spellbinder.  It took me all day to finish, but it came together pretty good.

One more before I go on a 4 day vacation.

This was taken at the roller rink that my daughter & I took my great grand kids on a Saturday afternoon.  It was fun to watch them but it was pretty dark in there so the pictures aren't the best.

I have had this on my to do list for awhile, so I figured I would get them posted before the end of the month.

Weekend Results

I only got two layouts done this weekend. Along with practicing with my new markers and checking out my new printer, a little shopping and some housework, I guess two pages are not too bad.

 Rick Paulin finally meet his Grandkids when he came to California to meet up with his kids Nick & Steffanie.

This was also taken the same weekend of Nick & Steffanie.

Weekend Results

O.K. Everything is put away and in its place after coming home from the Expo.  Time to get into my stash and start another layout.  Got a couple done on this 3 day weekend.  This first one was of the wake behind the boat while on vacation in Mexico.  It was fun to do after getting the frame cut (which my daughter helped me with) the flowers are highlighted with glitter but it does not show up very good in the picture.

Another Birthday party for my best friends granddaughter Alex.  There are more pictures layered under both of the 4 x 6 pictures, that you can't see.

While at the expo we bought a set of the Spectrum Noir markers, so here are a few cards I have been practicing on.  Trying to get the shading perfected.

My daughter, Marlene & I attended the San Diego Scrap Expo for 3 days and had a great time.  These are the pages I completed between classes, shopping, make & takes, scrapping and earning our medallion.

Last Posting Till after Scrap Expo 2014

The pictures were taken at a restaurant in Fallbrook  called Oink & Moo's.  I cut the embellishments from my Cricut machine which I thought were pretty cute.

From last weekend

Just a couple that didn't get posted over the weekend.  My SEI kit page was used on this first two page layout of my sister Pam and her daughter Samantha and her family.

This layout was copied from one I seen on Pinterest that I liked,  The paper used was from my stash.  I wasn't sure how the ocean view would look on a background of flowers but when it was all finished, I liked it.

TIME TO POST

I can't file my pages in the album till after they are posted, So here is what I done since my last post.

 This was of my granddaughter Steffanie & my two Great Grandkids Christopher & Matthew.

Another one from my vacation in Puerta Vallarta in January.  Rick took us by boat to the small village of Punta Mita where we enjoyed lunch.

This one was taken at my best friends granddaughter birthday party at Chuck E Cheese.  Paper & embellishments are from SEI kit.

Also from my SEI kit, of my Grandson Nick & his Dad on his 28th Birthday. If you lift the tag under the picture it has another picture and tells about his day.

Using odds & ends I did this one of the boys Christopher & Matthew helping Gramma Marlene make Hamburger patties for dinner. The pictures aren't the best cause I down loaded them from facebook.

Super hyped up since signing up for Scrap Expo

Registering for the Scrap Expo has got me in the mood to get a few pages done.  That and nothing on T.V. to watch.
I have so many pictures of Curtis posing on the back of the boat, while his brother snapped the pictures, it was hard to choose just a few for my page LO.  It was like he was doing a photo shoot for a magazine.

Nick traded in his truck for a car to save money on fuel. The next three LO's were done with papers from my SEI kits.

LAYOUT POSTING TIME

Still working on my vacation pictures from this past January. This first one is of some guys that were net fishing which was interesting to watch.  They certainly had a system for throwing out there nets.  The paper I used on this LO was from my miscellaneous stash. The wording is thickers.

This is of the resort where Rick has his boat docked.  We don't stay at the hotel, we sleep on the boat, but we are allowed to use all the accommodations of the hotel.  This LO is from a SEI kit with a few of my own embellishments.

This is the one who is responsible for 95% of all the pictures I have been using for my layouts.  Eric did a great job taking pictures but once in a while his brother would get a hold of his camera and take some of him.  This paper is also from my stash. Used my cricut for the title and the stamping is from ctmh.

The last one is also from my stash. The title is thickers and the embellishments are just that.  It was a fun time watching the whales.

A Scrappin Saturday

I think I scrapped from the time I got up til the time I went to bed, with a few breaks during the day.
All the pages I did this weekend are from my S E I kits with a little of my own ideas. This first one was at a restaurant that we went to one evening while on vacation in Puerto Vallarta.

We decided to take the Rickdiculous out to check out a few sights that Rick wanted us to see. I wasn't sure about the colors on this one, but it ended up o.k.  The main layout has a card on the left hand page which opens up to some more pictures which you will see right below it.

 The colors in this one I think were perfect for the pictures I used.  We were cruising down a river on our way to the restaurant in the first page I did.

Time to post

Finally got a few to post, one from last weekend and one single & a two pager from this weekend.

 My two sleepy great grandsons on Christmas morning when they lived in North Carolina.  This was the easiest page I have ever done.  Just found the right paper and glued everything down.  This is my last page for my 2013 scrap album.

 First page of my 2014 album starts with my vacationing in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico with my son and his two sons.  I have a lot of pictures to post so it should keep me busy for a while.

Here in Yalapa, Mexico, I relaxed on the beach while the guy's went exploring a beautiful waterful.  So glad they took pictures.  This page was created with papers and embellishments from one of my S E I kits.

Latest pages

Finally going to get these posted.  I made my card display in two different colors, because I wasn't sure if I needed a one or two pager in my album.

These two pages I downloaded the pictures from face book.  The layout was one I started in a class at the scrap expo a few years ago and decided it would work with my pictures cause there was so much different colors in them.
